Cinema with meaning, Stories with purpose.

I am Ghulam Abbas, an award-winning documentary and short film director dedicated to telling powerful, human-centered stories. My work focuses on real social issues such as women’s rights, interfaith harmony, peaceful coexistence, and the struggles of marginalized communities.

My documentary “ROHI” highlights the harsh realities of life in the Cholistan Desert and won 4th place at the University of Toronto Sustainability Film Festival 2023. It was also officially selected by Dawn & DW’s “It Happens Only in Pakistan”. My short film “Masiha” won the 1st Khalid Saeed Award in 2022.

With over 10 film festival selections and multiple national and international awards, I believe in using cinema as a voice for truth and change. Through storytelling, I aim to inspire empathy and create meaningful social impact.

I aim to produce high-quality films and media that combine meaningful storytelling with professional cinematic excellence.
